Electronic Leak Detection

We identify trapped areas of water within a roof or potential leaks by using a small pulse generator. This clever little diagnostic is non-destructive and can detect leaks as small as screw holes. It works by identifying where there’s water in a roof by completing a pre-set ring circuit. Sounds tricky right? It is a little, but all you need to know, is it’s a quick and accurate solution to get to the bottom of any leaking commercial roof.

Moisture Probe

Works great on built up roofs where there’s heat generating sources at roof level. A moisture probe is placed into a small core of your roof, it then generates a scan of your entire roof, showing if and where it needs repairs. Once that’s complete we’ll be able to identify where the work needs to be carried out, which could potentially save you replacing your entire roof.

Thermal Roof Survey

Using infra-red technology, we can identify thermal anomalies in your roof. Sounds fancy right? It is. We’ll be able to show you where there’s defective areas and dangerous faults in your roof and exactly how they look in infra-red. It’s a concise way to diagnose roof faults. As a bonus, it’ll also shows you if there’s any insulation missing in your roof, along with how energy efficient your current roofing solution is.

Core Sampling

A small section of your roof is cut out (using specialist cutting tools) and tested for moisture content. The sample is weighed as is, dried out and weighed again. We’ll then identify just how much moisture (if any) is trapped within your roof AND we’ll also be able to test if there’s any asbestos in your roof. Don’t worry, any core samples taken are replaced appropriately and sealed to remain completely water tight and safe.

Extended Camera Survey

If you’ve got a smaller roof, or one that’s a tad fragile, we’ll often use extended camera surveys to diagnose issues. This simple little diagnostic gives a full photographic report of any potential roof problems.  This can be used on almost any roof in any location, it’s also quite handy if you’ve ever wanted to see photographs of your roof. You can then happily file them away, or make a collage – we don’t mind.
