Problem:
The building had an aged asbestos roof covering which was allowing water ingress into the tenanted building. The roof was beyond economic repair and our client also wanted to improve the thermal efficiency of the building. Our client within the program wanted to remove all asbestos containing materials from site. Whilst the site remained live Roofing consultants stripped and disposed of the existing asbestos roof covering and installed a new twin skin insulated roof covering.
